There are NO parking facilities at Highgate Cemetery but there is parking available on the left hand side of the road to the south of the Cemetery. It is wise to take the first free spot after passing the shops and walk the rest of the way, controlled parking until midday.
Swain's Lane is a one-way road which can only be approached from the South.
Public Transport:
Tube to Archway Station which is on the Northern Line and then either walk up Highgate Hill to Waterlow Park (+/- 10 minutes) or catch a 271, 210 or 143 bus to Lauderdale House. In either case walk through Waterlow Park for about five minutes. The exit to the Park is adjacent to the Cemetery gates.
Friends of Highgate Cemetery (FoHC) always need a helping hand:
Volunteers are much appreciated. Welcoming the public, selling tickets and publications, occasional working parties on landscaping and planting, and training for guided tours. Please telephone 0208 340 1834
Visitors:
The Cemetery is open every day in the year except 25th and 26th December for the purposes and at the dates and times set out below.
