Vampiric destruction and detection

Hello again everybody.

Just back again from a short sabbatical after writing up a couple of cases.

IF the vampire as we know it does exist , it does seem logical to me to use the discipline of epidemiology to locate the source of the contamination.

Analysis of this data would allow us to locate and destroy any vampire as fast as possible(possibly within 2 weeks of report analysis)

This would only work if there was accurate reporting of genuine cases to a central independant body.

When enough evidence is obtained,a trained force of scientists/vampire killers/hunters should be despatched to observe and destroy the creature and scientifically record any data ,using modern scientific disciplines,to enable further study of the vampire phenomenon.

I am looking for more data , after the nunhead cemetary case , as i believe that some people may be mistaking other phenomena , natural or otherwise as vampire infestation-due no doubt to the amount of tv/movie rubbish that serious researchers have to contend with .

I am currently working on a way of analysing the data obtained from genuine vampire attack cases and will be ready to use de-ionisation technology as well as the tried and tested stake/iron bar method to destroy a REAL vampire.

ALL of this data WILL be recorded for posterity to help train a new generation of vampire researchers.

Just as a matter of interest i am currently engaged in the study of the use of tetrodototoxin(so called zombie drug) and it's use in a case of robbery in the peckham area (stranger things have happened).

This all sounds good (i.e., centralized reporting, etc.), but its not going to happen.

Society doesn't take this type of thing seriously. And, except in rare cases, it may be that vampires are "cautious" enough to avoid the limelight. Thus, it is unlikely that society will perceive this as a widespread problem and act in this manner.

Further, on an individual level, doctors and those affected by the phenomenon will not recognize the symptoms of gradual vampirization when it occurs. In more radical cases, the dead drained bodies will be blamed on cultists.

Finally, as you point out, there are other phenomenon (demonic and natural) that muddy the waters here--including naturally occuring diseases of mind and body (and nutcake vampiroids and cultists).

So, LOL, but I'm not expecting anything any time soon. That's why I was wondering about methods for statistically analyzing deaths by type and locale to look for unusual patterns using public records. This might yield some results, but is cumbersome at best. Still, it may be the only way at present.

Alternatively, there are many denominations that take demons and their various manifestations seriously (including both Protestant and Catholic bodies). If they were convinced that this was a real form of demonic manifestation at an institutional level, there would be a lot more folks educated and alerted to the possibilities. Unfortunately, that is not the case at present. Once again, LOL.

Anyhow, you reference the Nunhead Cemetary case, and de-ionization. (I believe you mentioned these in a post elsewhere on this site). I don't want to bog down this board with discussions of extraneous vampiric manifestations as its purpose is specific to the Highgate case. However, if you can point me to a website on these matters I wouldn't mind checking them out.

Hello westy.

Firstly i have not published the film or the write up of the nunhead case, but will do so in the very near future.

I do not believe the nunhead case is extraneous to the highgate case as they are both manifestations in or around a london burial ground, and i have since discovered another intriguing fact about nunhead, involving a single solitary coffin,and i am trying to obtain a photograph of this coffin as there are 2 in existence,also the location of the said coffin has been made known to me,and the mysterious occurences related to it,when the said coffin was moved from it's old location for re-interrment.As i said this is still an ongoing investigation.

The film happens to be very high quality and no doubt will raise a few eyebrows.I will be submitting the film for independant testing as well.

I now after dealing with 5 cases have become convinced that something strange , lets say an unknown preternatural phenomena exists around burial grounds-mainly victorian ones,and deserves scientific study.

Myself and 2 freinds are now fully equiped to deal with any manifestation that may occur.

We are far from being amateurs .

Publish and be d**ned i say-lol.

Well, keep me posted. I'll be looking forward to the additional information. From a scientific standpoint, there's darn little current info to use in terms of faring a curve or coming to conclusions. Mostly (aside from the Highgate case) we're talking about very dated anecdotal info. So, the more recent cases uncovered and investigated, the more we'll have to go on.
