I have had some thoughts on the issues and looked into the related sites with the vampire sitings and so forth and I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before but if a vampire, vampir, vampyre, upir, or Vrykolakas or what ever term you may wish to call them(im sure there are more than hundreds spanning through time) was wishing to hide themselves from the eyes of the world why not look exactly like you or I. It comes to mind that if the vampires have problems with facial apperance that this can be covered by latex these days. If a vampire has to eat(which according to popular lore it doesn't) it can get grocerys delivered to their house. These vampires through banking and life insurance can prepetuate themselves with money and these days if they have to work where better to do it from but home. If these vampires have problems with people around them getting suspecious that they look a certain way for along while(be it young) they can obtain a new social security card through certain services or go to another country and immagrate back under another name. If these individuals do require blood there are underground orginizations that tailor to the gothic and sanguinarius community called blood bars. If they want to have these benifits at home they just find someone who enjoys the wonders of being bitten and fed off of in the bsdm community or some submissive person. I think some of these vampire hunters are looking for a walking zombie rather than something that can pass as human. Has it ever been thought that the individual vampire or vampires in these cases may have had a home and chose to go to these graveyard-people are always looking and watching their back-you see someone going into a graveyard at night and you would think something was up to. Now if this individual vampire draws attention to themselves by showing little by little to draw people into the graveyard your talking a graveyard-a place to bury people. The vamp can feed on those people who come in curious. Well-these are just thoughts that came to my mind while reading the posts and the sites. I will have to look into these books though when I have substancial funds. I do collect metaphysical information and this is of great interest to me on indepth research into vampire slayers and such.
