Dear Sir(s);
I am an ordained minister who is currently dealing with the occult, Wicca, and someone who wishes to become a vampire.
I do understand that you maintain the position of real vampires, that is to say the real undead, not only stalking the night, but actually snaking on people.
If this is so, please contact me at [e-mail] so that we may discuss what exactly a minister may do to combat this phenomina or what I cannot do.
I need a clear understanding on this issue.
I am already being trained at excorsisms, and have a very strong belief, based on the Bible, of spirits, demons, possessions and other things.
I have personally dealt with a destructive entity before, and as the philosopher says, "There is nothing new under the sun."

It is vital to distinguish the true definition of the word "vampire" from curious individuals who seek to emulate what they construe vampires to be, but who are clearly human beings pretending to be vampires.

The vampire is a supernatural demonic entity. People who consider themselves part of a "vampire subculture" are generally referred to as vampiroids. More about the cult of vampiroidism can be found at:

Therefore, what you might be referring to as "someone who wishes to become a vampire" is not what the VRS and I define vampires to be. We are talking about predatory demonic entities, not human beings who feel they want to drink blood.

And, as stated in the Gospel according to Mark (16: 17): "Believers will drive out demons in My name."

Since Jesus Christ is believed by Catholics, Orthodox, and many Protestants as well, to be truly God AND truly man, then it stands to reason that Anti-Christ (and by default the vampire as well) must be both demon and human.

Vampiroids, who are obviously NOT vampires, are invariably drawn to the dark occult and the machinations of the Devil. That is why you might experience difficulty in attempting to help them.

Thank you very much. I do indeed understand the difference between those who wish emulate the vampire and the demonic beings that you spoke of.
However, I am indeed in need education if I am to be of service to anyone in need.
I am in the process of putting together a course on cult activity, but I would ask you of your expertise in combatting any type of demonic activity be they vampiric or not.

Thank you very much. This is the Roman Rite, isn't it? I have this printed out from another source, and am given to understand that more and more of my fellow Lutheran ministers who undertake an exorcism use this Rite.
I appreciate your having posted it, because it is very reliable, and for any Christian who faces evil spirits or demonic activity, they should not be afraid to use it.
My personal belief is that all Christians that believe can defeat the enemy through faith, and that no evil will overtake them.

Dear billbo:
I can not caution you enough about your inquiry into dealing with a vampire (or vampiroid). If you are really seeking to excorcise a vampire please be aware that such an undertaking should be pursued with the utmost caution on both the material and spiritual levels! Yes the world needs such people like Bishop Manchester and yourself, but remember that the Highgate Vampire was not destroyed as easily as Buffy rids the world of fictional contagion! Vampires are not just "dusted" but must be properly excorcised BEFORE they can be destroyed! Read Montague Summers' THE VAMPIRE IN EUROPE and you will see that in most cases vampires were destroyed by teams of people working toward a common goal. Although I do not personally know him, as I understand it, David Farrant went about looking for the Highgate Vampire almost in the same manner that one would expect a bounty-hunter in the Old West to have stalked his prey. Don't be the preyed upon victim here. Please get a number of reliable people to assist you IF you decide to go ahead with an excorcism and destruction. Know and understand what it is that you are doing, be prayerful, make sure you are still on legal ground, and then proceed with your undertaking. I do not mean to sound overbearing and condescending, I only want you to remain alive and well, both bodily and spiritually. Please do not take offense at this communique, no offense is intended. One must always be careful about what one wishes to obtain, you might find yourself face to face with an entity that is far more dangerous than you anticipated! Re-read The Highgate Vampire and recall the terror and horror on the evening before the final destruction of the vampire, as they were awaiting the proper moment to destroy it. Bishop Manchester did a marvelous job of conveying the terror to heart and soul that all felt before they rid the world of that monstrous abomination! I have been inactive for some time as I come to terms with what direction my ministry is to take.
In that time, I have grown to a point that I feel more comfortable with who I am, what I believe, and more importantly-my faith.

By the way; How does one become a vampirologist, and the second question, which I have been wondering about for some time is, I know how, but why does a vampire come into being in the first place?
I understand and believe that a demonic being can possess a corpse, and must take sustenance to survive, but I am just wondering the why?
