Hello everyone.
Does anybody remember the vampire scare and desecrations in the late seventies that occured at NUNHEAD CEMETARY in the late 1970's.
There were quite a few newspaper reports and i believe some T.V reporting at the time .
As i remember during the desecrations , a number of bodies were staked in the way we have become accustomed to seeing in film and on T.V.
I would welcome any information on the subject, as i am currently involved in an on-going investigation into some strange phenomenon in the immediate vicinity of the cemetary, which is still hallowed ground , and has been re-dedicated.
i welcome any information that anyone could supply me with , and indeed welcome all comments.

UPDATE .
Myself and 3 freinds will be carying out a discreet vigil out side of Nunhead cemetary in south london this weekend.
We will not be entering the grounds of the cemetary after dark , as the grounds are sacred and hve been re-dedicated.
we will star the vigil at 9:00pm on saturday evening and finish at around dawn on sunday .
we will be carrying out a serious scientific investigation of the phenomenon , known locally as the black man , that is currently known to habitually haunt a small area that runs into the cemetary , and bears a striking resemblance to some of the much discusssed highgate phenomenon.
we will keep u all posted.

Hello Everybody.
Just a quick note to let you all know that the vigil on the 12/02/05 was not a complete failure.
We started the vigil at 21:00 , on what can only be described as a very windy and stormy night ( very atmospheric).
After planting some motion sensors and a remote camera and a small sound recorder along the small path that runs alongside the cemetary , we went back to the vehicles and began monitoring and patrolling the site under investigation.
All was quiet until 00:40 when the motion sensor went wild and we quickly ran to see what was going on .
By the time we arrived at the scene , all we saw was what can only be described as a very dark shadow , appear to enter a fenced area by the childrens part of the cemetary. The 2 of us watched this with amazement , and went back to the vehicle to check the video link.
NOTHING WAS EVIDENT ON THE VIDEO.
although the motion sensors had gone wild.
The sighting seems to verify the reports in the area of the "SPECTRE" for want of a better word , and we will be returning to the area in the following 2 weeks with manual photographic equipment rather than digital to try and record the phenomenon more precisely.
It appears at frst glance that this may become a quite interesting case.
any more information would be gratefully recieved.

hello again everyone.
The nunhead spectre/vampire that haunted the small lane that runs alongside of the cemetary and startled and indeed attacked 2 pedestrians going about their lawful business has now been destroyed/laid to rest.
After catching sight of the spectre for a fleeting moment on our video link , me and johnny X and david X ran with the equipment to the spot we were observing and catching a glimpse with our own eyes of the spectre/vampire , proceeded to use the de-ionising ( de gaussing) cannon to drain the spectre of any energy ( the entity visibly faded at this point, before reciting a prayer of exorcisim . At this point the entity dissapeared , and we thought we had won, then the entity re-appeared and (although terrified) used the cannon again and recited the prayer of exorcisim again, thankfully the entity dissapeared from view and has not been reported since.
We will still continue to monitor the situation.
We also managed to obtain some reasonably good footage of some of the event.

hello again.
I am very sorry for not letting you know , but the reported proceeding were over in 03 mins 36 seconds-although at the time it seemed like an eternity.
The second prayer of exorcism was not completed fully, which is why we will continue to monitor the situation.
Apart from the noise of the de gaussing unit , the noise was kept to a minimum , to avoid sensationalism.Luckily no member of the public was in the vicinity of the proceedings and everything was kept relatively covert.
At this time we are considering the operation a sucess and will review in 3 weeks time if necessary.

Yes undoubtedly scary monsters and supercreeps do infest burial sites in london and the rest of the country.
They keep us running,running scared.
to answer your other questions about my credentials.
I am a doctor of metaphysics and gained my doctorate from the Gesselschaft university in 1998.
I also have a Batchelor of arts degree in revisionist history from the Gesselschaft university 2002
I also have 4 religious and 3 scientific qualifications.
I am also dedicated to the study of preternatural phenomena.
Are you related to Juusi Holpaninen by any chance.

Yes indeed my qualifications do indeed come from the site that you quote,and are no less valid for doing so.
I think you will find that very few universities do indeed cater for our needs in respect of preturnatural study-however if you take a look at some of the postings on the identity of the highgate vampire area, i have listed my genuine formal qualifications on that area of the site.
I do think the gesselschaft certificates look quite good on the wall of my toilet.

I tracked down a post on the thread you mentioned where you list numerous degrees, and state that you are a Lutheran minister with a Doctor of Divinity. The problem is, I don't know which of these degrees/claims are bogus, which are real and what (aside from the purported DoD) any of these supposed degrees are in.
I also note that in the same thread you assert experience with demonic phenomena and identify the vampire as a demonic phenomenon. Yet, in another thread you are currently touting vampires as individuals suffering from an unfortunate physical ailment. This is, I suppose, related to your recent assertions that vampires, like other natural predatory creatures, should be studied and not destroyed.
At various times your posts have seemed sincere, at others times tongue-in-cheek, and in still others pure mockery. Why don't you just settle down and state your real position and qualifications. If you're only here to spread chaos, so be it. However, if you actually have something worthwhile to contribute, why the mockery and subterfuge?

You've avoided the crux of my question. However, that is of no consequence. Some sites attract more than their fair share of kooks, jokesters and other internet pests. I suppose it was inevitable that a site dealing with such an unusual and controversial subject would do so. Its a waste of time to converse with such individuals, better to merely ignore them in the hopes that they will, in time, go elsewhere for amusement. Goodbye, Edward.

I think the previous post proves that i am not a kook.
Did something i said strike a raw nerve somwhere.
Just for the record :
the VAMPIRE RESEARCH SOCIETY and BISHOP SEAN MANCHESTER have my 100% backing and confidence in the good works that they do.
Calling someone a kook merely because they have a different point of view or belief system to somebody else is not the done thing in my opinion.
MY MIND REMAINS OPEN TO ALL POSSIBILITIES-and will continue to remain open.
